In June 2026, Mitch headlined the NBA Rising Stars Invitational in Singapore — the second annual tournament, held with the NBA, Sport Singapore and the Singapore Tourism Board, gathering 24 boys' and girls' U18 teams from across Asia-Pacific at The Kallang. Alongside Jeremy Lin, Rui Hachimura and Lauren Jackson, he ran coaching and youth clinics on the ground with the next generation of the game.

Back in China —
with the game.
In October 2025, the NBA returned to China after six years — the Phoenix Suns and Brooklyn Nets at The Venetian Arena, Macao. Mitch was one of six legends, alongside Shaquille O’Neal and Tim Hardaway Sr., headlining the first NBA House ever held in China — and he opened the week in the community: leading the NBA Cares × Sands Cares youth basketball challenge at Lou Hau High School, bringing training and mentorship to 200 students and donating balls and equipment to the school’s program.
